Secure photo storage and access
Your child's photos are kept in private systems and delivered through controlled gallery access. They are not placed in publicly searchable photo collections.
Photo privacy & trust
Children's photos and personal information need strong protection in today's environment. We take practical steps to keep your child's photos and information private, protected, and limited to Picture Day.

Real photographs. Private delivery. Thoughtful protection.

What you should know first
Your child's photos are kept in private systems and delivered through controlled gallery access. They are not placed in publicly searchable photo collections.
Your child's photographs are not used to train generative AI models, added to public AI datasets, or used to create synthetic versions of your child.
We do not sell, rent, publish, or share student information with unrelated parties. When a vetted professional system is required to securely store, process, or deliver Picture Day photos, we provide only the minimum information needed for that specific job.
Secure photo delivery
Our delivery process uses several checks so your child's photographs reach the right family through controlled private access.
Photographs are captured on Picture Day and handled within our professional workflow.
We use the name and group information provided for Picture Day to identify the correct child and place them in the right group.
Private visual matching helps us group your child's Picture Day photographs accurately.
A unique access code or verified email login opens the gallery, depending on the Picture Day setup.
Our photo delivery process is built to make sure your child's photos are securely matched to the correct private gallery and delivered to the right family. We use multiple checks along the way to reduce mistakes.
Only what Picture Day needs
For Picture Day to work well, we only use the information needed to connect your child with the correct photographs and deliver them to the right family. That's it.
Provided through the approved school, studio, organization, or family registration process.
Used to identify your child and place them in the right class or group.
Used for approved Picture Day communication and gallery access.
The correct photographs are delivered through controlled private access.
We communicate only with the people responsible for Picture Day, including parents, guardians, and relevant school or organization staff. Gallery access is only provided through the approved Picture Day access process. Someone who is not authorized cannot receive access simply by asking. If someone else requests access to their child's gallery, we ask them to contact the school, studio, or organization so access can be approved first. We do not contact students directly.
We do not collect information about your child that Picture Day does not need.

Professional finishing
We use professional editing tools for normal photographic finishing. That can include correcting color or exposure, removing food around the mouth, cleaning up dirt or marker on hands, or removing a small temporary stain or spilled drink mark from clothing.
We do not generate a different child, replace your child's face, invent expressions, or create moments that did not happen.
The editing tools we use are vetted for privacy, and your child's photographs are not permitted to be used to train generative AI models.
Same child. Same photograph. Just professionally finished.
Chosen. Inspected. Verified.
We review every system and service that stores, processes, or delivers your child's photographs to make sure it has privacy and security protections appropriate for the job it performs.
We use the same systems to store and deliver our own daughters' Picture Day photos that we use for customer galleries.
Quick answers for parents
If your question is not here, reach out directly. We're happy to help.
Your child's finished portraits are not posted publicly or used on our website, social media, portfolio, or other marketing unless the appropriate permission has been provided. If you prefer that your child not appear in behind-the-scenes footage, just tell us at [email protected] and we will honor it. We film time-lapse and short videos during Picture Day to show what the photography experience looks like. If your child already appears in published content, we will work with you to edit or remove their appearance.
We receive the parent or guardian contact information used for gallery access from the school, studio, or organization running Picture Day. Only the people whose information we receive through that approved Picture Day process can access the gallery. Depending on the setup, access requires a unique access code or verified email login. If someone else asks for access to their child's gallery, we ask them to contact the school, studio, or organization so access can be approved before we provide it.
Only what we need to identify your child, connect the correct photographs, and deliver the private gallery to the right parent or guardian. This is typically your child's name, class or group, and the parent or guardian contact information needed for gallery access.
We connect the first Picture Day photograph to the student information provided for Picture Day, then use private photo matching to double-check the additional photographs we captured. Photo matching has one job: helping us get the right photos to the right family. The matching data stays within the systems used for that Picture Day workflow and is never reused in another context.
We never use AI to generate your child, replace your child's face, invent an expression, or create a moment that did not happen. We edit the photograph we captured. Professional tools may help with normal finishing such as correcting color or exposure, removing food around the mouth, cleaning up dirt or marker on hands, or removing a small temporary stain or spilled drink mark from clothing. The editing tools we use are vetted for privacy, and your child's photographs are not permitted to be used to train generative AI models.

Real People. Real Responsibility.
Yelena has spent 20 years photographing families and children. Alex has spent 20 years leading global IT and security operations.
We believe great Picture Day photography and strong privacy should go together. Families should be able to enjoy their child's photos without wondering how those photos or their information are being handled.
We photograph our own daughters, and their photos are stored and delivered using the same systems and process we use for our customers.
